Getting Started

What is this?

This a very short YSWS, where you design a circuit online that uses a 555 Timer IC! and as a reward you get hack club stickers shipped to you! and if your project is really cool I'll ship you a giant 3D printed 555 timer (which may or may not be actually functional)

You'll be using Falstad to design your circuit! It's a free online circuit simulator thats really cool. Checkout the getting Falstad guide if you've never used it before. There is also a 555 guide which gives you a breif explanation of the 555 timer IC and its pins and some common examples and ideas :D

Tracking Time

For this YSWS you have 2 options to track time:

1. Use Lapse: https://lapse.hackclub.com/
2. Use Journaling: Create a Journal.md and document your progress (read the Journalling guide if you've never journalled before)
